Can I disable the ability for a party to send me, as the sender, questions or comments?
By default, all signing parties have the ability to click one button on the signing page and send you questions or comments relating to that document.
If enabled, a signing party can click the ‘I have a question’ button, revealing the panel as shown to the right.
As the sender, you will then receive an email, noting the party name, email address and the document name, along with their question.
Allowing a party to strike up a dialogue with the sender from within the signing page can certainly prove useful, though we can appreciate there may be times you don’t want or need this feature.
To disable Questions from signing parties:
1. Head to your ‘Settings’ page.
2. Scroll down to the ‘Signing page settings’
3. Find ‘Questions from signers’ and select ‘No, disable it’ from the drop-down menu
4. Click ‘Update settings’
